When the smart key is detected within range of the Elantra, the wing mirrors automatically fold out and the integrated puddle lamps illuminate. Entering is also simplified, with a touch of the button on the door handle. The 150kW Gamma 1.6 Turbo-GDi engine delivers sharp throttle response, impressive low-end torque, as well as surprising fuel economy. Available on Sport and Sport Premium variants.

Upgraded front brakes.

Featuring upsized 305mm x 25mm ventilated front brake rotors (25mm larger diameter & 2mm thicker), the upgraded front brakes deliver improved braking performance and better resistance to fade under spirited driving.Available on Sport and Sport Premium variants.

Multi-Link rear suspension.

The multi-link rear suspension allows each rear wheel to travel independently of the other. This allows the Elantra Sport range to achieve exemplary characteristics in terms of handling response and dynamics, whilst still retaining excellent comfort, control, and ride quality.

Perfect for the everyday drive, the Elantra Go and Active come with the 2.0 Multi-Point Injection (MPi) engine paired with either 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission.

Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA).

When you may be getting a bit too close to a car, cyclist, or even pedestrian in front of you, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) will kick in and gently apply the brakes until you become a safe stopping distance away.FCA - City/Urban (camera) available on Sport and Sport Premium variants.
FCA - City/Urban/Interurban/Pedestrian (camera & radar) optional on Go and Active variants (Auto and DCT transmission only) as part of Hyundai SmartSense pack which is an additional cost.

High Beam Assist (HBA).

Using the same windshield mounted camera as the LKA system, High Beam Assist (HBA) scans the road ahead of Elantra, monitoring for street lights, as well as headlights and taillights of surrounding vehicles in front. Upon detection, the system automatically adjusts headlight range, switching between high and low beam.HBA is active at speeds of 45km/h or above, and operational once the light switch (on the indicator lever), is placed in the Auto position and the lever pushed forward away from the driver.Available on Sport and Sport Premium variants.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW).

The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) monitors for traffic approaching on either side of your car.Available on Sport and Sport Premium variants.
Optional on Go and Active variants (Auto and DCT transmission only) as part of Hyundai SmartSense pack which is an additional cost.

Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BSCW).

At speeds of 30 km/h or above, Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) uses radar sensors on either side of the rear bumper to detect vehicles next to and diagonally behind Elantra.Available on Sport and Sport Premium variants.

Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS).

Standard LKAS mode provides steering intervention as the vehicle is about to leave the lane.Available on Sport and Sport Premium variants.
Optional on GO and Active variants (Auto and DCT transmission only) as part of Hyundai SmartSense pack which is an additional cost.

Smart Cruise Control.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go detects the speed and distance of vehicles ahead of the Elantra.Optional on GO and Active variants (Auto and DCT transmission only) as part of Hyundai SmartSense pack which is an additional cost.

Driver Attention Warning.

At speeds of 64km/h or above, Driver Attention Alert (DAA) uses the windshield mounted camera to continually monitor the vehicle’s position within the lane, whilst also tracking steering inputs, brake pedal inputs, as well as time since last break. Should the system detect careless driving (such as sudden steering/braking inputs and/or inability to keep within lane), the ‘Attention Level’ display on the cluster will continually decrease. Should the level decrease to a certain threshold, the DAA system will recommend that the driver take a break.Available on Sport and Sport Premium variants.
